A Wig After Chemotherapy: How to Choose the One Where You Feel Like Yourself
If you are currently looking for a wig after chemotherapy, you most likely need more than just a beautiful hairstyle. It is important to you that the wig looks like your own hair, does not irritate the skin, stays securely in place, and is barely felt on the head. This is exactly where we start the selection process at Korol Natali Hair Couture.
WHAT WE PAY ATTENTION TO
After hair loss, the base is in direct contact with the scalp, so it must be thin, light, and delicate — especially if the wig needs to be worn for many hours every day.
More hair does not mean a better wig. Excessive density adds weight and often gives the wig away. We select the density so that the hair looks natural, while the wig remains lightweight.
The back of the head, temples, forehead height, and ear positioning — everyone is different. Knowing the size S, M, or L is not enough: we look at the anatomy of the head so that the wig does not press or shift.
Naturalness is created not only by the hair — the hairline, parting, density near the face, and hair direction are all important. Our goal is to make it look like your own hair.
If you come to us before hair loss — we focus on your length, color, and texture. If the hair has already fallen out — photos are enough to get as close as possible to your usual look.
HOW TO KNOW IF A WIG IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Am I comfortable?
Does it sit securely?
Do I see a wig or do I see hair?
Do I recognize myself in the mirror?
